Patricia Argibay Suárez obtained a BA in English from the University of Vigo in June 2007. In October 2007, she was admitted by the University of Vigo to the Ph.D Programme “Language, Literature and Thinking: Review from the twentieth-first century” and specialised in the English Linguistics branch. After completing one year of postgraduate courses, she has currently started her research work on the teaching of English as spoken language. The second-year postgraduate research grant from the University of Vigo will allow her to work on her dissertation which is being supervised by Dr. Rosa Mª Alonso Alonso.
